xAI Agents Offer to Buy Mississippi Homes in Exchange for No-Sue Pledge
Residents near Elon Musk's Southaven datacenter report door-to-door offers to purchase their properties, contingent on waiving lawsuit rights over power plant noise.

The datacenter and its associated power infrastructure remain central to Musk's artificial intelligence ambitions, and the neighborhood's informal nickname — 'Elonville' — reflects the extent to which the facility has come to define the area's identity.
The offers place residents in the position of choosing between financial relief and the ability to seek legal remedy, a tension that community members appear to be weighing differently. Continue reading at Business | The Guardian.
